Dr Lindsey Smith - Medical Director & Practitioner

Dr. Lindsey Smith moved from the UK to Australia in 1992, bringing with her a First Class Degree in Medicine and Surgery. Since then she has worked on the Gold Coast in both hospital and community based practices. She was one of the first female practitioners to own and establish a multidisciplinary general practice and during that time was awarded a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She went on to study Law at Bond University, obtaining a First Class Honours Degree in 2002 and went on to practice for a premier law firm in Brisbane for a short period.

Dr. Smith joined our team at the Australian Skin Clinics in 2006 having trained in Cosmetic Medicine under the skilled guidance of Dr. Douglas Grose.

Dr. Smith has a longstanding passion for personal fitness and weight management. As such, she greatly appreciates the important role that body image plays, from the public face of the busy executive to the diverse social activities of the homemaker. Her background in general practice has given Dr. Smith the necessary ability to listen to and understand each client's individual needs. She will be happy to give advice on any concerns that you have and guidance as to the most effective and appropriate treatments available.

Dr Simon Rosenbaum - General Practitioner in Cosmetic Surgery

Dr Simon Rosenbaum trained in Australia and in the united states. He has been performing liposuction for over fifteen years and has successfully completed thousands of cases. He has also performed over 2500 breast augmentations and is one of Australias biggest users of tear shaped implants. He has vast experience with many other cosmetic surgery procedures including abdominoplasty, mini tuck, otoplasty, male breast reduction, blepharoplasty, face lift, thread lift, breast reduction, breast lift, and brow lift.

He recently retired as the President of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australia (CPSA). His experience and constant travel overseas, to both lecture and learn about liposuction and cosmetic surgery, ensure that the latest equipment and techniques are available to enhance your results. Dr Douglas Grose - Clinic Founder

Dr Douglas Grose founded Australian Skin Clinics in 1996 and it was his insight and ambition that made Australian Skin Clinics the first Cosmetic Day Spa in Queensland. He graduated from Sydney University School of Medicine in 1970 and also holds a First Class Honours Degree in Science, majoring in Pharmacology. He also holds a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of England majoring in Obstetrics.

He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery; a member of The Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia, The International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons and a full member of the Australasian College of Sclerotherapy. He is an International member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr Gose retired from the clinic in December 2008 but continues to support its development and services, acting in an advisory capacity.
