Deb Farnworth-Wood - General Manager/Business Owner

I have nearly 20 years experience of ownership of successful, professional medical practices, and I not only understand your need to have confidence in our professionalism, ability and quality of service but I also know that clients want open, honest communication and informed choice. That is why I insist that our offers are simple, there is no catch, no trickery and most importantly, no hard sell when you get to come to my clinic

I first saw Australian Skin Clincs while on holiday on the Gold Coast with my children in 2006 and from the moment I walked through the door, I knew that this was where I wanted to be! I bought the clinic from Dr Grose in early 2007 and it seemed the natural thing to do. At the time, I had 17 years experience in managing multi-disciplinary health services and was the Managing Partner of one of the largest multi-disciplinary practices in the UK as well as being the first non-doctor partner in UK medical practice, and the first non-pharmacist to own a UK pharmacy.

Moving to the Gold Coast with my husband (Shaun), and children (Jacques & Chloe) gave me the opportunity to specialise in the area that I love most - Cosmetic Medical Services - and at the same time to enjoy a better quality of life in the Australian Sunshine. I am passionate about what we do here, and so proud of our fabulous team of highly trained professionals. We all take great pride in our work and combine a true Cosmetic Medical Practice with a gentle approach, relaxed friendly atmosphere and genuine care for our clients.

I now oversee the day to day running of the practice, and love to meet our clients. I'm always happy to share my experiences of the treatments and to chat to clients about their aspirations for treatment. Darlene O'Gara - Customer Service Manager

The beautiful Darlene is responsible for our reception, front office and administration areas. She has many years industry experience and can be relied upon to take charge in Deb's absence. Yaina Mingo - Receptionist

Australian Skin Clinics Ashmore welcomes locally trained therapist who has been a qualified Beauty and Nail therapist for the past 12 years and has successfully run her own business for the past 5 years.

At the young age of 26, Yaina has gained many diplomas, statements of attainment and certificates in many facets of the industry and has also successfully completed a diploma of Justice Administration and certificate in Business Management.

Not withstanding the above merits, Yaina has also qualified and received her certificates in train the trainer and is a qualified teacher in the Beauty industry having taught at both a private Beauty College in Queensland and in other States of Australia for a prominent importer of Beauty products.

Mel Wood - Receptionist

Melanie joined our happy team at Australian Skin Clinics in June 2007. Having lived on the Gold Coast for most of her life, Melanie was very thrilled to join such a reputable company that was driven in patient care. Melanie is one of our friendly receptionists.

She holds qualifications in ASAP skin products and Young Blood makeup. Melanie enjoys speaking with clients about their particular needs and has a great knowledge of our products and our procedures. Kimberley Scott - Receptionist

Having had a background of successfully running her own Beauty, Nail, Tanning & Hair Extension Business and also being an International Model for many years, Kimberley decided she needed a change.

And having been a client of Australian Skin Clinics for many years Kimberley enjoyed visiting the place so much that she started working here!
