Laser hair removal is one of our most highly sought after treatments!
We use medical grade equipment in our clinics with the goal of providing affordable effective
treatments for men and women alike.
First Appointment:
Before your first treatment you will need a short 15 minute consultation with one of our technicians. This is needed to assess your skin and hair type, assess your suitability for treatment and discuss how to prep your skin for the best possible result.
If you require a treatment on the day of your consultation, this can usually be arranged too.
On your first visit we need you to come in visible hair.
Do not wax or use depilatory creams beforehand, but you should shave the night before.
We will then assess your hair and skin type and advise the best course of action to take.

Above per treatment prices are based on a pre-paid package of 6 treatments. 25% surcharge applies for individual treatments.
Skill & Qualification
Before our staff are able to treat clients they undergo vigorous training in laser safety and have to complete a specified amount of training hours before they can work unsupervised.
In Queensland, laser operators require a laser license and at Australian Skin Clinics, our staff work under the watchful guidance of our medical director Dr Simon Rosenbaum.
When planning your laser hair removal, you should ask the practitioner whether or not their equipment has TGA approval
Permanent Hair Removal?
No Laser Clinic can claim to achieve 100% permanent hair removal and maintenance treatments may be required from time to time (perhaps one every 6 months) as some hair will always return, generally though, this is much finer than the original hair.
However, using our specialist, we do achieve exceptionally good results. Typically, with our equipment, clients need an average of only 6-8 treatments to obtain good and lasting hair removal - compared with an average of 10-12 treatments on less effective equipment.

Getting the Best Results
Do not wax or use depilatory creams for 2 weeks before your hair removal treatment. You can shave up to the day before your treatment. One day's stubble is perfect for treatment. Timing of your treatments will dramatically effect the outcome, so we recommend that you book a course of treatments rather than coming in ad hoc.
