Shaving Bumps

Shaving, waxing and depilatory creams can cause shaving bumps. They are mostly caused by rapid healing of the skin, trapping the hair underneath.

When the shaving rash on bikini lines, underarms and face can be particularly embarrassing causing sufferers to be self conscious. Male or females with strong hair growth may be prone to, itching or infection of the hair follicle. In extreme cases infection can be transferred from one site to another by scratching, shaving or just from weakness in the cell walls of the skin.

IPL and Laser hair removal are the most effective treatments and will reduce the problem significantly.
