Techniques
There are several techniques that can be used to enlarge or enhance the lips. The simplest of these is injectable fillers which can easily be injected into the lip to make the lips more pronounced - the so called Paris lip look. There is no surgery involved with this technique. The lips look a little "bee stung" in appearance for a few days and the effect lasts for months.
Fat Transfer

If the idea of a foreign substance in your body does not appeal then you might like to consider the idea of fat transfer.
In this procedure, fat is painlessly removed from the body (usually the lower abdomen), washed in salty water and then injected back into the lip to increase the volume. About 40% of the fat is lost so it is usually necessary to do the procedure a second time (and occasionally a third time) to get a uniform result but once the fat has settled the result is permanent.  |
